What exactly is a 'design as a subscription' service?
(AKA, why wouldn't I just hire a full-time designer?)
A full-time senior level designer can earn an average annual salary upwards of $80,000, not to mention benefits. Unfortunately, many small businesses, nonprofits, educational institutions, and others are priced out of design agencies, which can be even more expensive. Additionally, a small to mid-size business may not have enough work for a full-time designer, leaving them stuck paying for unused time.
Our subscription-based design service offers access to high-quality design services for a flat monthly fee, making it an affordable option for businesses of all sizes. It's like having your own personal designer without the need for recruitment, providing benefits, or long-term contracts. The service is flexible, allowing you to pause and resume your subscription as often as you need to ensure you’re only paying your designer when you have work available for them.
What type of design services do you offer?
We specialize in print and digital graphic design, including branding and logo design, social media graphics, website design, brochures, flyers, and promotional materials. We use industry-leading software, such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Figma to ensure you get the best results.
How quickly can I expect the designs to be completed?
Our standard turnaround time for design requests is 48 hours. For more complex projects, it may take a bit longer, but we always communicate these timelines upfront.
What if I'm not satisfied with the designs or need revisions?
No worries! We're committed to making it right. We will work on the design based on your feedback until it meets your expectations.
How many design requests can I make per month?
With our flat-rate subscription, you can submit an unlimited number of design requests every month. We work on your requests one at a time and move on to the next one as soon as you're satisfied with the design. Our billing cycle is 31 days long. If you find that you have fewer design needs partway through the month, you can pause your subscription and the remaining days will be carried over for future use. For example, if you use the service for 21 days and then decide to pause, your billing cycle will also pause. You'll have the remaining 10 days of service to use anytime in the future when you need more designs.
How does the design process work?
The design process begins with you submitting a design request in Trello, our project management tool. You can send us a brief in any format that works for you, including Google Docs, wireframes, or even short videos. As long as it can be linked or shared in Trello, it works. Once we receive your brief, we start creating initial design concepts. We iterate on these concepts based on your feedback until we deliver a final design that aligns with your vision.

We are a one-person design team, so you will be working directly with me, your dedicated designer. I will be your sole point of contact for all design needs, ensuring continuity and personalized service.
Do you offer refunds?
We strive to provide the highest quality service and prioritize your satisfaction. Please note that due to the nature of our service, we are unable to offer refunds. However, we encourage open communication and offer multiple revisions until your design meets your expectations.
